The Best In The Desert Office is closed (Wednesday,) we are all in Parker, AZ. Please do not call or email, we are not able to answer nor return your phone call/email. You can come to the BlueWater Resort in the Mohave Room and we will be available if you have questions. Good luck and have a fun race. If you have changes at this point in time we will make them on Friday.
Congratulations Racers ~ it's going to be a great big BlueWater Parker "425"!!! 227 Entries!!! Get ready for a big Contingency and Tech on Friday, February 3, at the BlueWater Resort & Casino and thrilling race day on Saturday, February 4th! All times are on AZ (MST) time, 1-hour ahead of PST. Entries just hit 227; 34 Trick Trucks, 54 Class 1500, 32 Class 1000, 25 Class 7200 - awesome!
Entry List - please check your entry and make sure everything is correct. We did not get a lot of 2-3-4 people's names nor did you write in MAKE of vehicle. If you didn't write in make we put "unknown". Also, if you race a Ford and do not write Ford in the make of the vehicle area they will not pay you your contingency. Please email us at

Draw Order for Start Positions, TM means # of team mates, the number reflects how many people you put on your entry form, our database shows up to 4 names only. People call and think it's some secret code but it's just # of racers! This list has not been updated, the order will be posted in the registration room.

Hi Racers ~ if you are attending the pre-run on Sunday, January 8th, please send in your RSVP by this Friday, Dec 30th, the rsvp form is in the race file. We need to make a t-shirt order by Friday. Also, if you send in your entry form and a $200 deposit you won't have to stand in the 1st line/entry line, you can skip to the pre-run lines, so may save you some time. I am leaving the office on Wednesday, January 4 for Parker, we have a race Jan 7th, so please don't send in to arrive when no one is in the office. Thanks and we look forward to seeing you in Parker for the exciting 2012 racing year! You may enter after Monday, January 2, you just may not be guaranteed the correct size of t.
Please Note: By request of the BLM the Best In The Desert is asking everyone to not mark and reserve your pits early; this includes Pit 1 Cap, Pit 2 Graham Well, Pit 3 Midway and Pit 4 Mineral Wash. The Main Pit is on CRIT land and you may mark your pits early at the Main Pit only. Please note that Best In The Desert is not responsible for your markings and we cannot guarantee they will remain marked. If you have problems with this take photos and deal with the situation yourself, we cannot police this area for a month!
BITD 2012 Calendar error - We are very sorry, but there was a problem with the file and the printing process and there was an error made in the month of September. The dates are incorrect, September 1, 2012 starts on a SATURDAY. Please do not make any September plans based on our calendar. We know this is quite a problem and we sincerely apologize, this is terrible and we can only apologize. Labor Day is Monday, September 3, please don't miss your holiday because of us, we are so sorry. We have checked the other months and they are fine, there are no more errors that we know of. |
